The top priority of Vision 2020 is reaching lives for the Kingdom of Heaven! The gospel of Jesus Christ is so relevant and powerful, and we work hard to get in to the farthest places of the world.
One key component of Vision 2020 is helping those in need whether it’s clean water or rescue from sex-trafficking, Vision 2020 is about sharing God’s love with others.
Vision 2020’s education component includes educating new pastors and Christians on God’s Word and the actionable steps needed to continue the discipleship of each person.

Vision 2020
The Birth of a Vision
In 2004, Pastor Rob Rotola received a bold vision to lead 20 million people to the Kingdom of God. Though ambitious for one church, Pastor Rob trusted God's guidance. When he asked, "How can one church from Wichita, KS, introduce 20 million people to Christ?" God promised, "If you listen, I will show you how." With this assurance, Pastor Rob gathered a team, prayed, and prepared to launch Vision 2020.
God revealed that this mission would largely succeed through supporting evangelists traveling to the farthest corners of the earth.
It was clear to him that if those called to the most unreached people groups could then spend less time raising funds and more time adding ministry campaigns reaching locals with the good news., then more can be won.
When the body of Christ walks in completion, in our true calling, and in love, the world will see our unity and believe. John 17:21
Transforming Nations
Vision 2020 focuses on international gospel campaigns in countries like India, China, Nepal, Thailand, Peru, and Africa.
These campaigns, costing up to $100,000 each, often result in over 100,000 people committing their lives to Jesus Christ. Since its inception, Vision 2020 has helped finance hundreds of crusades, that have won millions of souls for Christ.
Vision 2020 is active in planting churches, distributing written materials, and implementing humanitarian aid to sustain the impact. Adult Bible Schools and Grade schools disciple new believers.
Vision 2020 Worldwide is the third tier of our vision at Word of Life Church., "to Transform the world". Pastor Rob continues to share Vision 2020 with others who have joined the effort to work as one unified and successful force for the Kingdom of God.
Carrying The Torch
In 2024, Vision 2020 Worldwide expanded its reach by appointing Pastor Roy Ochieng as Vision 2020 and local outreach director.
Pastor Roy has been in ministry for over 20 years. He has actively been on the mission field in various countries around the world, seeing thousands of souls saved as well as present day miracles happen.
Vision 2020 has always emphasized the importance of reaching souls in our local community, surrounding communities, as well as to the four corners of the world.
Pastor Roy is passionate about continuing the Vision that the Lord gave many years ago to Pastor Rob by expanding our efforts to reach those in our community who either need Jesus or need to make a new commitment to our Lord and Savior.

Word of Life Church has had a few ministry statements throughout the years. All of these slogans are still a part of our DNA today! From "the church love is building", to "having as many outreaches as possible to win as many souls as possible" to "pursue, love and transform", they are all the heart of Word of Life Church.
Hallelujah Night
At Word of Life Church, we believe that everyday belongs to the Lord. That is the reason behind our very first outreach we began in October of 1989. Hallelujah Night is an outreach to our local community. We provide a safe, fun, and free alternative to Halloween. Parents and children from all over come each year to our two Wichita locations. By providing this alternative, children learn that the Lord never takes away, instead he gives something far better! Each year we minister to over a thousand children and have been faithful to our pledge of providing more candy than going trick or treating. We have had the strength team, puppet shows, altar calls, prayer booths and more...
Bless Wichita
Each year before it gets too cold, we minister to the hurting and less fortunate. Bless Wichita is the time we minister as a church body to supply coats, gloves, blankets, toiletries, gift cards, as well as a delicious chili lunch, drinks, and dessert to all who attend. At Bless Wichita we have anointed worship and a time for the Good News of the gospel to be preached to all. Trained volunteers are available to minister to individuals who have prayer requests and or questions about the Lord. Bless Wichita is a great opportunity to get involved by cooking or serving food while sharing the love of Jesus! Some families bring their children to help and see first-hand the blessing this outreach also brings each year to those who volunteer.
Bless Wichita is held at the South Location at 2020 E Blake
on the first week in December.
Legacy Honduras
Legacy Honduras focuses its efforts in the beautiful region of San Antonio de Cortés, Honduras, where the needs of the community are great, and the opportunities to share God’s love are even greater.
Through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the construction of safe, secure homes for families in need, we aim to provide hope, stability, and a brighter future. By addressing both spiritual and physical needs, Legacy Honduras strives to leave a lasting legacy of God’s love, compassion, and care for generations to come.
Prison Ministry
Word of Life Church is deeply committed to reaching out to those in need of hope and redemption, including men and women who are incarcerated in the Kansas prison system. Our dedicated prison ministry team works tirelessly to bring the love of Jesus Christ to individuals behind bars, offering spiritual support, encouragement, and the message of salvation. Through prayer, teaching, and personal connection, we aim to provide a sense of hope and purpose, reminding every person that they are valued and loved by God, regardless of their circumstances.
